The Los Angeles Kings have signed Joe Hicketts and Taylor Ward to one-year, two-way contract extensions the club announced Friday afternoon. Ward’s contract will have an average annual value (AAV) of $775,000, while Hicketts’ contract will also pay $775,000.
The LA Kings have signed the seventh-round pick from 2022, Kaleb Lawrence, to a three-year ELC (Entry-Level Contract). It’s worth $852,000 per season, with a signing bonus of $77,500 and a base salary of $775,000, and if he is in the AHL his salary is $82,500.
While last Sunday may have brought the final Kings-related hockey game in SoCal this season (when the Reign were eliminated from the AHL playoffs), there is still one LA prospect fighting for a championship.
